Unlocking future talent

Kalium Health was delighted to participate in Cambridge Unlocked, an internship program designed to enable students from minorities and disadvantaged backgrounds to gain access to high-quality employment opportunities.

We were pleased to welcome Tiago who joined us for a week's experience working across the whole company, including assisting with sensor manufacturing and testing, carrying out market research for our future products and helping to develop our digital strategy including social media.

Tiago said:

I enjoyed working in the lab and being able to contribute to important scientific experiments. At Kalium every day is different! I loved getting to know the different personalities in the team and I felt really included in everything. I found that Kalium's digital presence is really important and it was good to be able to progress app development and the company's social media.

Businesses and organisations from the dynamic Cambridge cluster are encouraged to join this important movement, offering the next generation a chance to gain valuable insight and experience to break into their dream job.

Kalium Health CEO, Tom Collings, said:

It was a pleasure and a real privilege to be able to work with Tiago. He brought a totally fresh approach to the way we thought about our digital strategy and he was quickly able to generate great insights into our future markets. Everyone enjoyed Tiago's warm personality and he would unquestionably add value to any team.

At Kalium Health we are proud to be part of an organisation that promotes inclusion, with meaningful actions, that not only offer opportunities to others but help us gain new perspectives and harness new ways of thinking.
